Basalogic can help with small machine design/build projects. We can do all of the mechanical, electrical, and controls design work, and produce prototypes or small-batch production runs.
We have extensive experience with automated material handling equipment, including new machine design as well as modernization or refurbishment of existing machines. Motion control, positioning, sequencing, command queue handling, automatic operation, and communication are all areas where we have strong experience.
Mechanical
We have access to metal fabrication services such as laser cutting, machining, welding, and finishing. We can produce mechanical design documentation, including bills of material as well as detail and assembly drawings. We can source all materials, fabricate all parts, and assemble equipment.
Electrical / Controls
Basalogic can also produce electrical design documentation, including schematics, panel drawings, harness lists, and bills of material. Controls software development is also available. We can source parts, build panels, load software, power up, and test.
Testing
With combined mechanical / electrical / controls projects, we can test and debug machine operation in-house. We can build test fixtures, test tracks, and simulated loads as needed to support realistic testing.
